Our teaching term dates follow many state school calendars. Some of our teachers are also available during holiday periods.

Lesson prices September 2025+
Our tuition prices have remained unchanged since early 2023. The 2025+ charges below apply to all lessons from September ’25.
There may be additional expenses, such as purchasing drumsticks, guitar strings, sheet music, reeds etc.
Tuition fees are paid up front. Once you have decided upon starting tuition, you will be sent a link to settle your invoice via Stripe.
A one-off registration fee of £15 is charged to all new customers.

SMALL GROUP TUITION
Individual Tuition
- 20 minute lessons
People opt for 20 minute tuition for younger students and also it is used as a way of gauging students’ interest and suitability for lessons whilst keeping the cost down

- 30 minute lessons
Most people choose 30 minute lessons to start with. It gives a good balance of time without being too demanding for most younger students

We recommend that GCSE, A level or BTEC Music students, or anyone performing at approximately grade 5+ standard should consider longer lessons to allow more in-depth work

Some adult students choose fortnightly hour long lessons, other students make the most of the intense and detailed weekly lessons that are available

Bespoke lesson lengths
Whereas we do not recommend lessons shorter than 20 minutes, if you have particular requirements, we’ll do everything to be able to accommodate your request. Ask for more details

Ensemble Tuition
- Strings 4 Starters
Tuesdays at 5:20pm
An hour of beginner fun string playing and music related activities.
£7.00 per hour session (£8.00 to include instrument hire (Violin, Viola or Cello)
- Ready, Steady, Bow
Tuesdays at 5:20pm
Our flagship first ensemble for string players that already have some performing experience at around grade 1 standard.

- All Strung Out
Tuesdays at 6:30pm
An ensemble that students graduate to after Ready, Steady, Bow. Grade 3+ standard.

Small Group Tuition
- Music Theory
We teach music theory individually, in pairs and small groups. In these cases, prices are bespoke and will reflect the number of students in the groups.
- The latest class is called ‘In Theory’ and costs £11.50 a week in a small group. 2 students in 30 minutes, 3 students in 45 minutes or 4 students in an hour.

- Paired Instrumental/Vocal lessons
Usually we do not offer paired tuition, however, if you have someone that you can share a lesson with (friend or family member), we can arrange lessons for you.
