For most people, this is taken as additional support for school-based class tuition and can cover the basics of listening skills, set works and music theory.

Studying additional ‘theory based’ lessons offers students a greater understanding of the key concepts involved, allowing a broad foundation of musical analysis.

Which syllabus do you teach?

At Harrogate Music School, we teach towards most of the main examining boards.

How long are lessons?

This very much depends on the timescale for requiring the exam support. Most students request at least 30 minutes to start with, before building up before the examination.
